- Born and brought up in London, I attended Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, going on to read law at Warwick University obtaining an LLB 2:1 in 1987
- I was called to the Bar in 1988 having passed my Bar Finals at the Council of Legal Education in Gray’s Inn. I was awarded the Bryan Walters Planning prize for Planning Law and went on to enjoy a pupilage in a planning chambers in Mitre Court, Inner Temple.
- I left to spend time at common law chambers in Pump Court, moving out of London to take up a tenancy at Canterbury Chambers.
- Leaving Canterbury in 1994 and after spending time at Chambers in Bolt Court I went on to establish my own Chambers as a sole practitioner in 1995.
- I have been running my own practice since then. I carry out my own clerking and administration and enjoy the close contact that I have forged with solicitors and clients.
